Analyst® 1.7 Software Patch for Windows 10 Update 1709 Installation Error

Issue Description

When installing Analyst® 1.7 software with Hotfix 1 and the patch for Analyst 1.7 for Windows 10 Update 1709, the following error message was received, "You must have Analyst 1.7 software installed to install Analyst 1.7 Patch for Windows 10 Update 1709."

Resolution

To resolve this error message, uninstall any previous version of Analyst software (such as Analyst 1.6.3) as well as Analyst 1.7, and then reinstall Analyst 1.7 with Hotfix 1 and the Analyst 1.7 Patch for Windows 10 update 1709.
