A critical aspect of modern omics research is the ability to generate large-scale datasets relating to an organism’s genome, metabolism and protein expression/processing using a range of sophisticated techniques, such as next-generation sequencing and mass spectrometry. The understanding of biological system, however, often requires the integration of data from one or more omics discipline to attain a comprehensive understanding.
The aim of this symposium is to bring together research groups across South Wales and Oxford to discuss how integrated omics is used in their research to solve interesting biological problems.
Speakers include Valerie O’Donnell, William Griffiths, Nicola Ternette, Roman Fischer, Christopher Thomas, Andrew Quigley, Honglei Huang and Rachel Webster.
Attendance at the seminar is free of charge, but places are limited, so register ASAP to secure your seat!
