Stephen Lock, Sr. Market Development Manager – Biopharma, SCIEX

Steve obtained his PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry from the University College of Swansea in 1993 and is a chartered chemist and a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He has worked for SCIEX in various technical roles for over 20 years and has presented at over 80 international meetings around the world. He currently works closely with customers in the biopharmaceutical industry. Steve is also currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pannonia.

Heather Chassaing, Senior Accurate Mass Workflow Specialist, SCIEX

Heather Chassaing has over 20 years of experience in analytical science, with a strong background in biochemistry. She has worked extensively in both the agrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, gaining comprehensive expertise in the research and development of drug entities, as well as the complexities of drug production. Heather is particularly passionate about structural elucidation and the application of Mass Spectrometry to these workflows.

Cathy Lane, Sr. Application Lead, SCIEX

Cathy joined SCIEX in 2006 as a Support Specialist and in 2021 took up the role of EMEAI Applications Lead for Pharma & Peptide Quant. She has 25 years’ experience in the development of LC-MS methods for the analysis of small and large molecules. She has a PhD in mass spectrometry-based proteomics from the University of London School of Pharmacy, an MSc in Forensic Science from King’s College London and an MA in Chemistry from the University of Oxford.
