Simple and intuitive user interface, designed to be effortless in learning and usage (Figure 1).
Figure 1: Imaging Acquisition Software user interface.
Along main workspace window's right side, acquisition and processing methods are defined, in addition to the file name and path. Below, a sample list displays a list of x and y coordinates of the selected acquisition regions where individual spots can be selected and deleted. Creating of a list of regions to be acquired within a sample plate can be accomplished within the batch area of the software.
A status bar along the left side provides the current status for the instrument, plate, and queue, while a command bar keeps important menu commands at your fingertips, such as importing optical images, saving acquisition settings, and changing the software configuration.
And finally at the top of the workspace, icons for common tasks such as specifying acquisition regions on a plate make specifying methods straightforward. Additionally, secondary images can be overlaid onto the plate image, allowing for greater precision during acquisition.
Looking for MALDI™ Imaging Software from MALDI-MSI.org?
- Eliminate radioisotope labeling: Mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) eliminates radioisotope labeling, so you obtain drug distribution results faster, – and data are available for discovery and early development studies sooner. In addition, you can easily differentiate the drug from drug metabolites and view distribution of endogenous species such as lipids.
- Get precise information on compound ID and distribution: MSI allows you to acquire MS and MS/MS information directly from tissue slices. Sophisticated software tools combine spectra to create a two-dimensional mass spectrometric photographic representation of the compound's distribution throughout the tissue sample.
- Powerful data visualization tools: The optional TissueView™ Software allows researchers to process and visualize imaging data to take data analysis to the next level.
