Issue Description
When editing or creating a batch, users may find that they cannot add plates or assign samples correctly. In many cases, the issue is related to missing autosampler description fields in the Batch display.
Columns such as:

Rack Type
-
Plate Type
-
Rack Position
-
Plate Position
-
Vial Position
may not be visible in the current Batch view configuration. If these columns are hidden, the batch editor may not allow proper assignment of plates or samples.
Resolution

Open the Batch editor in SCIEX OS software.

Click View in the Batch window.

In the Configure the samples for display and printing dialog, ensure that all autosampler-related columns are enabled, particularly:

Rack Type
-
Plate Type
-
Rack Position
-
Plate Position
-
Vial Position
- Click Apply.
Once these columns are visible, plates and samples can be added and assigned normally in the batch table.
