Description: The Introduction to QTRAP® training is intended for beginner to intermediate users of the QTRAP® System for running small molecule applications. QTRAP® Theory will be introduced, and attendees will learn QTRAP® System features to build methods for quantitative and qualitative analysis. The course is focused on small molecule applications and is divided between classroom-based lectures providing LC/MS/MS theory and hands-on laboratory exercises designed to reinforce lecture fundamentals. Emphasis is placed on QTRAP scan functions, Scheduled MRM™ acquisition and Information-Dependent Acquisition (IDA) method development.
Upon completing the course, you should have a clear understanding of LC-MS/MS and linear ion trap (LIT) theory as it relates to operating your QTRAP in an Information Dependent Acquisition (IDA) manner for compound identification, and you will be capable of transferring the principles and practices learned throughout the course and apply them to your specific workflows.
