For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
The SCIEX iMethod™ Application for drugs of abuse screening provides a set of generic screening methods to analyze hundreds of compounds in both positive and negative mode, together with an MRM catalogue of over 1450 compounds with up to six transitions per compound that can be used to create custom screening or quantification tests.
This method uses a SecurityGuard cartridge C18, 5 µM 60 Å, 4 x 3.00 mm and a Phenomenex Kinetex C18 column, 2.5 µm 100 Å, 50 x 3 mm

Just download a method, add your sample, and you're ready to go
iMethod™ Applications for Forensic Toxicology provide instant LC/MS/MS methods, enabling you to generate accurate and precise results faster. Simply download a lab-proven method from the web or a CD into Cliquid® Software and run your sample. All the instrument parameters are downloaded upon installation. Everything you need to start running a test immediately is included: sample preparation protocols, optimized MS and LC parameters, integration parameters, reporting templates, and documentation.
Screen up to 200 drugs simultaneously
LC/MS/MS is quickly becoming the technique of choice for both screening and confirmation due to elimination of derivatization and simplification of sample preparation while offering better sensitivity and selectivity, shorter run times, and detection of a wider range of polarities and molecular weights in a single analysis.
The iMethod™ Application provides a method for the screening of drugs of abuse in plasma, blood, or urine. Examples of sample preparation are provided and are based upon variability in the sample matrix, the degree of cleanup required, and the preferred mode of ionization. These procedures range from simple extraction and dilution for urine to liquid-liquid extraction for blood and plasma to solid phase extraction for plasma and urine.
The iMethod™ Application for drugs of abuse screening is configured for use on SCIEX 3200 and 4000 QTRAP® LC/MS/MS Systems, utilizing an MRM-triggered full scan that can be applied to a library for confirmation.
This iMethod™ Application comes with a pre-set method for 200 drugs of abuse, together with an MRM catalogue of over 1450 compounds with up to six transitions per compound that can be used to create custom screening or quantification tests. The Forensic Drug Library required for identification and confirmation is sold separately.
