SCIEX Presents Revolutionary High Resolution Mass Spec System for Routine Testing at ArabLab 2016

Media Alert — SCIEX, a global leader in life science analytical technologies, will be presenting its new high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) system to the Middle East at ArabLab, March 20-23, 2016. The X500R QTOF System was specifically designed for routine food, environmental and forensic testing labs, based on extensive user input. The resulting platform is a scalable, highly robust and accurate HRMS instrument that’s easy to use, even for non-mass spec experts. It is balanced across the key criteria that routine testing labs have been asking for, including:

  • Balance: reliable results delivered through MS/MS speed and library database
  • Scalability: multiple workflow capacity in one system
  • Productivity: new algorithms, diagnostics and tuning tools
HRMS has not previously been widely used by many routine testing laboratories due to the unreliability of the instruments, which were typically complicated to operate with non-intuitive software providing hard-to-interpret results. The X500R QTOF System has a completely new operating system with easy-to-use software, and methods and libraries that have been custom-designed for routine testing applications. This revolutionary system was first launched in Europe in November 2015, and will be demonstrated at SCIEX's booth, #630, throughout ArabLab.

SCIEX will present three seminars during the exhibition, focusing on new developments in food safety, forensic toxicology and routine food testing with LC-MS technologies. Full details of these seminars are provided below, and are open to all ArabLab delegates.
