We have re-designed our Academic Partnership Program to help address economic barriers to the acquisition of LC-MS/MS instrumentation by providing financial subsidies and direct access to pre-owned and more affordable LC-MS systems. The Academic Partnership Program supports research programs in academic life sciences, clinical sciences, toxicology, and environmental sciences by providing limited financial assistance to select researchers whose work is aligned with our business strategy and LC-MS product development.
In 2017, SCIEX intends to provide $1M in Academic Partnership Discounts to academic researchers with the goal of having a dramatic impact on all areas of academic mass spectrometry research.
Academic Partnership Guidelines:
Applicants for the Partnership Program must be full-time faculty at degree-granting institutions in North America, Central America, or South America.
This program enables independent investigators as well as university core lab facilities and their affiliated principal investigators to apply for an Academic Partnership, which provides an exclusive discount towards the purchase of a premier LC/MS instrument when an academic partnership is established.
Two tiers of applicants will be considered – Early Career Investigators (within 7 years of initial academic appointment) and Established Investigators (beyond first 7 years)
Applications submitted to either track will be reviewed by our scientific business leaders on an ongoing basis. Please refer to the published deadlines to learn more about these opportunities. For related inquiries, please email MSgrants@sciex.com.
