The software that lets you acquire and explore in minutes

Analyst software

Whether you’re an expert or a novice, Analyst software’s broad functionality powers all elements of your lab. But, for a more modern software expereince you'll want to learn more about SCIEX OS software.

Analyst software offers:

  • Flexible data acquisition
  • Rapid data processing
  • Compliance readiness

The current version enables:

  • Enhanced Scheduled MRM Pro algorithm gives you even more control than before
  • Up to 3X longer sustained instrument operation before required cleaning
  • Windows 10 compatibility

The Analyst software difference

Secure

Be confident that you’re backed by a reliable LC-MS/MS acquisition software and validation team to make regulatory compliance painless!

Optimize your efficiency

Your workhorse command center

Analyst software is an integral part of any SCIEX QTRAP and Triple Quad systems. The software delivers full-system integration and serves as a single point of control for a range of:

  • Auto-samplers
  • HPLC pumps
  • Ion sources

Analyst software acts as a central integration point for add-on software packages including Cliquid softwareLightsight software and MultiQuant software.

Screen more. Verify more. Quantitate more

Leverage on smarter algorithms, which require less user intervention, so you maximize your sensitivity, precision, and accuracy. The advanced algorithm of the Scheduled MRM Pro monitors up to 4000 individual MRM transitions only when needed; not continuously throughout the chromatographic run. That means you can monitor and quantitate more compounds with better quantitative accuracy in a single run.

With the newly enhanced Scheduled MRM Pro in Analyst software 1.7 users can now set the resolution settings for Q1 and Q3 in the mass table per transition. That means, you can run compounds together in one run with the ability to control the quadrupole resolution per transition to get the best sensitivity and avoid running two different methods.

Advanced SMRM Algorithm Enhancements

Dynamic Window Extension (DWE) can be turned on or off. Choice of target cycle time or target scan time (only choice before).

SMRM Calculator Script 1

sMRM calculator allows for optimization of Cycle/Dwell Times for sMRM acquisition methods with large number of transitions and helps to minimize MRM concurrency and overlapping MRM Windows to produce the best data possible for quantitation - better sensitivity and peak shape.

SMRM Calculator Script 2

Changing parameters here will recalculate dwell times for transitions and all graphs will be updated accordingly.

No more waiting to see what you’ve been missing

Don’t wait to uncover underlying peaks. With the dynamic background subtraction (DBS) algorithm you can subtract the baseline background ions during a run.

Easily remove the unchanging spectral components to reveal underlying components in the presence of a high background (Figure a).

This greatly increases the effectiveness of information dependent acquisition (IDA), which automatically selects masses of interest for the dependent scan for further characterization (Figure b).

With Analyst software 1.7 you now have control over your dynamic window extension (DWE) for sMRM Pro. You can now independently set different thresholds for triggering secondary transitions and for dynamic window extension so that more secondary transitions can be triggered without increasing the cycle time by avoiding triggering DWE. Thus, no more missed qualifier ion transitions due to long cycle times caused by the DWE.

More control of data

Dynamic background subtraction

Adjacent collected spectra are subtracted from the current spectra with the Dynamic Background Subtraction* (DBS) algorithm to improve the detection of lower intensity masses in the presence of high background or coeluting compounds of interest.

Accurate selection

The Dynamic Background Subtraction (DBS) algorithm allows for the automatic detection and selection of minor components for further.

Get quality, with less effort

Forget hunting and scrolling through each chromatogram to view your peaks. With the integration quality index, you get all the goodies, with less effort.

Easily, create analyte Integration quality column in the results table to display a relative score for the peak integrated and to assess the quality of integration.

Compliance at heart

Combine transparency and control. Analyst software is the perfect security blanket for your laboratory. The software is complete with features and functions to operate in a 21 CFR Part 11 compliant environment. The comprehensive suite includes:

  • Complete role-based security
  • Centralized audit trail functionality
  • Documentation and electronic records

Analyst software helps make compliance less cumbersome. Add-on tools such as the centralized Analyst Administrator Console and direct LIMS connection for your data transfer seamlessly integrate into your existing workflows. That means you save time and don't have to worry about bringing it all together on your own. We got you covered!

The new Analyst software 1.7, is also now compatible with Windows 10. Not only can your IT now streamline support, but they can also leverage the comprehensive built-in security protection of Windows 10.

With Analyst software, be assured that you have a GxP compliant LC-MS/MS software and a reliable validation support team behind you.

Maximize your instrument operation with reduced complexity

With Analyst software 1.7 you now get up to 3X longer sustained instrument operation before required cleaning.

The new scheduled-ionization (scheduled-ISV) feature, allows you to reduce ion optic contamination and increase productivity by maximizing the length of time between instrument cleaning. By scheduling the formation of ions, it is possible to extend the use of the instrument over prolonged duration due to the reduction of contamination of the front end.

Set the ionspray voltage to active, for data collection only during the relevant time during the chromatogram run. All this with one click and minimal operation intervention!

Reduce downtime
