Answer

Users can import batch information into the Batch Workspace in SCIEX OS software using the Import from File option under the Open menu. First export a blank batch as a .csv file to use as a template. Add the batch information to the template and save as a .txt or .csv file. Import the file using the Import a Batch screen, which opens a dialog that allows .txt or .csv files to be imported into the currently opened batch. Once the file is selected, users can indicate if they want to append the information in the currently open batch. Otherwise, the newly imported information will overwrite any batch information currently showing.

1) Open the Batch Workspace in SCIEX OS software.
2) Select the Save icon in the upper right side of the batch window, and then select Export.
3) The Export the Batch to a File screen will appear. Browse to a location and name the file.
4) Add batch information to the exported template.
5) To import the batch information, select Open and then Import from file.
6) Select Browse and navigate to the file location. Then select Open.
