Collection and Recycling Arrangements in Finland

The Batteries Directive 2006/66/EC was transposed through the Waste Act 646/2011 which came into force on May 2012 and Ordinance 422/2008 published in June 2008. Producers are responsible for collection and treatment of batteries according to their market share.
