Birgitte Støvring, Scantox

Speakers:

Dr. Heike Wiese, Head of New Modalities LC/MS Bioanalyis, Nuvisan

Dr. Heike Wiese is a Chemist by training with a long-standing experience in biochemistry, microbiology and biological mass spectrometry. She started academic research in the field of proteomics at the Ruhr-University in Bochum. She continued working in the field of proteomics during PostDoc and Scientist positions at the University of Freiburg and at Ulm University. During these positions she was fascinated by finding solutions for bioanalytical problems in a multitude of biological systems. She joined Nuvisan Neu-Ulm in June 2020 as Senior Scientist in LC/MS Method Development and Validation. Since April 2022, she is heading the New Modalities LC/MS team.

Birgitte Støvring, MSc, PhD., Scantox

Birgitte joined Scantox in 2022 as the head of analysis and preparation in Ejby Denmark. Prior to this she has several years of experience as a Bioanalytical Director and Bioanalytical Scientist in the CRO and pharmaceutical industry.

Ben Smith, Scientist Discovery Bioanalytical, Cyprotex UK

Studied Chemistry at the University of Bath and graduated in 2016. Since then Ben has been working in analytical chemistry for almost 8 years, most of which has been in bioanalysis. Ben has been at Cyprotex for almost 4 years in the bioanalytical team supporting early stage drug discovery projects.

Emiliano de Dominicis, Chemistry Research Director, Mérieux NutriSciences

Emiliano De Dominicis is a researcher with over twenty years of experience in food and pharmaceutical safety, following both private and academic sectors, and he is now Director of Chemical Research - Project Manager at Mérieux NutriSciences. With a Research and Development in Analytical Chemistry dedicated team, Emiliano is responsible for Mérieux NutriSciences Global Research Projects and Scientific Center. Moreover, Emiliano De Dominicis actively participates in funded scientific projects (regional, national and European), scientific congresses as speaker, and writes articles published in specialized scientific journals. and AMS as Project Manager and Principal Scientist.
