Recent changes to EU recommendations and regulation of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) compounds in food have resulted in a renewed focus on this area within food manufacturers and testing agencies. A reliable and sensitive analytical method, appropriate and validated for routine use, is imperative for ensuring consumer safety, not only by meeting current enforced legislation, but also by addressing recommendations for very low limits of quantitation (LOQs) in different foodstuffs.

Nestlé recently developed and validated an LC-MS/MS method for analyzing 57 PFAS compounds at the ng/kg level using the SCIEX 7500 system in various matrices. In this extraordinary webinar, Nestlé scientists will present the findings and results of their analysis.
