Issue Description

Batches run in Analyst® software in mixed-mode security with a Waters UPLC may stop if the user logs out of Windows while the batch is still being acquired. When the first user logs in and starts the system, the batch begins to acquire data successfully. However, when the user logs out of Windows, the software crashes and the system stops.

Resolution

To avoid interrupting a run in Analyst software, users must ensure that the system is idle before logging off or allowing another user to log in to Windows.

Before submitting a long-running batch, ensure that the same user is logged into Windows for the entire duration of the batch.
