SCIEX has not tested the use of Google Drive to transfer or store data acquired from Analyst® or SCIEX OS software or data that has been processed with any SCIEX software. Therefore, the use of Google Drive with SCIEX software is considered an unsupported configuration. Using Google Drive has led to issues with data sets for some end-users because of a potential embedded encryption process in Google Drive. As of July 15, 2019, we are not recommending this practice for data storage or transfer and suggest using a network drive in accordance with the Laboratory Director's Guide for your acquisition software to store data, even if acquisition is done locally.
