Maintaining LCMS Systems under Specified (Standby) Conditions Post-Acquisition in Analyst® Software

In Analyst® software, create an acquisition method containing the settings to be used when the instrument goes into standby. At the end of your batch, set up one acquisition where this method is used.
In Configure Mode in Tools/Settings/Queue Options choose the option you want to use:
- Max. Idle Time: After the last sample in the queue has been acquired, the LCMS system will stay in active mode using the parameters from the last method for this time period.
- Leave Mass Spec on in Standby: After the last sample in the queue has been acquired, the LC will go to standby and the MS will keep the parameters from the last method until something is manually changed.
