How to create a hardware profile in "read only" mode in Analyst®

Answer

1) Create the hardware profile in the hardware configuration section of Analyst®.
2) Verify that the hardware profile is working and it is currently activated in Analyst®.
3) Go to the C: or D:\Analyst Data\Projects\API Instrument\Configuration folder.
4) Right click on the Hardware profile (.hwpf file) and click on properties.
5) Check the read-only box, then apply.
