Answer
The Analyst® Diagnostic Tool is an information-gathering program that creates a service package (as a zipped folder) containing essential trouble-shooting information such as event logs and a list of installed software on the computer. The latest version of the Analyst® Diagnostic Tool can be downloaded and installed from the SCIEX Software Downloads page located at: https://sciex.com/support/software-support/software-downloads.
When on this page, scroll down to the Additional downloads section and locate Troubleshooting tools. Click on Analyst® Diagnostic Tool, enter your contact information on the next page, and then click Submit.
On the next page, select the Download software button, and the zipped folder Analyst-Diagnostic-Tool will be downloaded (usually to the PC's Downloads folder). Unzip this folder and pay attention to location where the folder extracts to after decompressing the folder.
A new folder, Analyst-Diagnostic-Tool-1-0-2, will appear in the Downloads folder. Open this unzipped folder and double click on the blue file, AnalystDiagnosticTool (see below).
The installer will launch and after accepting the license agreement, select Install. Once installed, the Analyst Diagnostic Tool can be accessed from the search field or from the Start menu at C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\SCIEX. It is recommended to right click and pin it to the taskbar for easy access.
