Answer
To view trends (such as internal standard peak area) over a range of samples in a results table, a metric plot can be created in the Analytics mode of SCIEX OS software. To start, generate a results table in Analytics mode and highlight the column with the values to be plotted (peak area is selected below). In the More menu, click on Create metric plot with new settings.
The metric plot pane will appear as shown below. In order to make sample names appear on the metric plot such as in this example, go to the options drop down and select Show sample names.
In order to generate a metric plot only based on a specific sample type, such as standards, filter the results table by clicking on the filter icon for sample type in the results table, select standards, and then generate a metric plot as described above.
