Injection volume must be a positive value

Issue Description

If the Regional Settings on an Acquisition Computer with Analyst® Software is not set to US English, this can cause the Error message: 'Batch not submitted-Injection volume must be a positive value' when you try to submit a Batch.

You will see in your Batch Table this format: 5,0 instead of: 5.0. Means decimal separator has been replaced for comma instead of a period (.).

This will cause the Error message. Even if your inlet equipment allows this batch to run, you will be facing this issue again in the Quantitation Mode of Analyst® Software or MultiQuantTM Software when quantifying the data.
 

Resolution

Please change the Regional Settings of your Computer. Could be done over the Windows Start Icon and choose "Control Pane", than "Regional Settings" or similar in your own Languages. If you don't like to change the whole Settings to US English, you will need to change the Decimal Separators to a period (.). Be aware, that this change will also influence other Software like Microsoft Excel.
