LibraryView 1.0 Error 21467259 failed to create SQL database Unknown Error

For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Issue Description 

When installing LibraryView 1.0 the following error message is shown. Error -21467259: failed to create SQL database: LibraryView, error detail: Unknown Error.

Resolution 

This is because LibraryView 1.0 is not supported on a 64bit Operating System.  The solution is to install on 32bit operating system only.

Requirements

• Windows XP operating system with SP3 or the Windows 7 (32-bit) operating system, with or without SP1.

• Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010.

• To create .pdf versions of reports when Microsoft Office 2007 is installed, the 2007 Microsoft Add-in: Microsoft Save as PDF must be installed. The free download is available from www.microsoft.com/download.

• To create acquisition and quantitation methods using the LibraryView software, Analyst® software version 1.6 or higher must be installed.
