Multiwash Section in Analyst® Device Driver 1.3 Software Is Grayed Out when Configured with Agilent 1290 MultiSampler

Issue Description

The Analyst® Device Driver 1.3 software includes a Multi-wash section on the Multisampler tab when the LC portion of an Analyst software method is open, but it is greyed out.

Resolution

If the multi-wash hardware accessory is not installed on the autosampler, the Multi-wash screen will not be available for editing. The autosampler should be checked to ensure that the multiwash accessory is installed. In the screenshot above, the Agilent 1290 Multisampler G7167B was installed, but no multiwash accessory was attached.
