Opening SCIEX OS Results Tables Containing UV and MS Data

Issue Description

When opening a Sciex OS results table that contains both UV/DAD and MS data (in a .wiff2 file), an error message is received:
"Error. Cannot be empty, Parameter name: experiments."


 

Resolution

When creating results tables in Sciex OS using data files that contain both MS and DAD/UV data, the quantitation method must specify a method for the UV/DAD data, as well as the MS data.

In the quantitation method set up in the Analytics section of Sciex OS, the type of data to be used is selected under the components tab. Shown below are 3 different ways of setting up the method. The correct way is to select both UV/DAD and MS, as shown in option 1.
