Optimization Report (XPS File) in SCIEX OS Software Does Not Display Graphs

Issue Description

In SCIEX OS software, selecting the MS Method pane allows the user to perform an multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) infusion, as shown below.


During compound optimization via infusion, the software will ramp compound parameters such as collision energy (CE), and the graph of the this ramp will be visible as shown below.

However, when optimization is complete and the .xps report is generated with the optimization results, the graphs are not visible on the report itself. In this case, the report will have empty graphs despite during the infusion there was data visibl and the graphs appeared correct in real-time, as shown below.

Resolution

This is due to a Windows update (update for Microsoft Windows KB5020866) that restricts .xps files. Once this update is uninstalled, the graphs in the report will generate correctly.
