Answer

Some labs are choosing to process their data acquired in SCIEX OS software in Analyst® software in the Quantitation mode. If the Waters module, Sample Manager and Sample Organizer, is used to manage a Waters LC system while acquiring data using SCIEX OS software, SCIEX OS software will need to be used to process the acquired data, and not Analyst software.

The reason for this is the length of the rack code string for “Sample Manager and Sample Organizer” has too many characters and Analyst software cannot accept the rack code information. The Sample Manager and Sample Organizer rack code string is stored in the acquired data file (.wiff and .wiff2) and cannot be edited; therefore, the data file cannot be processed in Analyst software.
