Improve Sum Multiple Ions in SCIEX OS Analytics
Currently, the sum multiple ions feature uses group names to automatically create additional components in the batch for every group name in the entire Components Table. This means that every component with a group name also creates a _Sum component that cannot be deleted. In most cases, only a few ions in a method would need to be summed, not the entire list of compounds. This also means that you can not use the Ion Ratio for multiple summed ions because each _Sum has its own group and this can not be edited. Multiquant handles this better because it gives you the option to choose which ions you would like to sum. Ideally, you would create a new line in the components table, and enter all of the transitions you would like to sum for that particular line.

Not sure if this is the same issue, but seems related. We have a 6600 customer who would like to sum the ion intensities for all charge states of a peptide (all charge states and all isotopes). Preferably this could be automated, such that once the peptide (or peptides) of interest is identified, a single click could produce the "reconstructed" summed XIC. Apparently this functionality formerly existed in BioAnalyst. Not sure where it should exist moving forward, but likely within SCIEX OS.
