Answer

In Explorer mode, go to the Show menu and then select Mass Calculators. The Mass Property tab will appear first. Use this tab to calculate the mass and other properties for a chemical formula. To enter the chemical formula follow the instructions provided:

Formula: Specify the elemental formula.
Tip: Use specific isotopes by preceding the symbol with the weight of the isotope. For example, specify heavy water as 2H2O. In this case, this cannot be specified as O2H2 because this would be interpreted as O2 H2. If the symbol is not the first, then precede the mass with a space as in O 2H2.
 
Tip: Use ( and ) or [ and ] brackets. For example, specify a formula of CH3(CH2)2CH3 which is equivalent to C4H10.
