Answer
The CDS autocalibration system will work successfully with a Dionex system that is not controlled by Analyst® software. The CDS autocalibration system can be controlled exclusively through a separate workstation running Chromeleon (ThermoFisher's chromatography data system software), and the inter-sample auto-calibration and valve-switching will remain operational as well.
Getting the CDS autocalibration system to work without an active LC in the hardware profile has not been successful since the DCMS link (version 2,12 a) was no longer upgraded to work with Analyst® software on Windows operation systems such as Win7 64 bit.
