Answer

Step1: Locate the file BPVFlex.DataDictionary.xml  in C:>Program Files>SCIEX>SCIEX OS>BPV Flex, it is a good idea to back up the file before editing.
Step 2: Open the BPVFlex.DataDictionary.xml with Notepad or Notepad++, or any software that can edit a .xml file.
Step 3:  Locate the section, Digestion Agents, located at the very end of the BPVFlex.DataDictionary.xml file.
Step 4: Type an enzyme definition or Copy/paste a definition for the desired enzyme.

Step 5: Edit one of the instances to create the custom enzyme. In this example, the custom enzyme Lys N+ArgC was created. Save the file once the information for the new enzyme has been completely entered.

Step 6: Open BPV Flex 1.0, The added custom enzyme should be visible via the Digest Agent drop down menu.
