Issue Description
When an Exion LC system with a photo diode array (PDA) detector will not communicate with the Analyst® software, the following sequence of steps can be followed:
- Equilibrate the LC system using Analyst software
- Place Analyst and the LC system into Standby mode
- Deactivate the hardware profile
- Reactivate the hardware profile
- If the icon for ExionLC in Analyst turns red and hardware profile does not re-activate, then restart Analyst services
Resolution
Workarounds:
- Do not select the PDA option when equilibrating (uncheck 2D and 3D in the method). After equilibration, there should not be any problem with hardware profile activation and deactivation or;
- Re-start Analyst Service
