Error Activating Hardware Profile in Analyst® Software: Failed To Load the Factory Parameter Settings File

Issue Description

When activating a hardware profile In Analyst® software, the error message "Failed to load the factory parameter settings file" was received.



Recreating the hardware profile and resetting the system did not resolve the issue.

Resolution

The API Instrument project in the Analyst Data folder will give this error if it is corrupted. Replacing the API Instrument folder with a backup of an older version will resolve this issue.
