How do I add compounds to a library with Sciex OS and LibraryView ?

For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Answer

1) Open SCIEX OS and go to Analytics. Open the results table that contains the compound(s) to be added to the mass spectrum database. Display the MS/MS data by clicking on "view" then "XIC+MS/MS".

2) Right click on the MS/MS window then click on "Add spectrum to library".

3) Enter the name of the compound and select the library in which to save it. Click "OK".

4) Open the LibraryView software. Select the database containing the new compounds. Click on the compound to be modified. In the "MS Spectra" tab, you can view the previously saved compound.

5) In the "Details" tab it is possible to modify the information relating to the compound with the feature "Edit mode".
