Answer

To add a custom column to a batch in SCIEX OS software, open an existing batch or make a new one. Right-click anywhere on the batch table area. Then, select the option Add Custom column…

This will open a box where the name for the custom column and its type (text, integer, or real number) can be assigned.

Note: When a new results table is created from this batch in the Analytics section of SCIEX OS software, the custom columns will automatically appear within that table.
