Generating a Service Package in Sciex OS Software

Answer

1. From the Sciex OS homescreen click on the Configuration section (below Managment).

2. Select About from the left menu.

3. Adjust the timeframe (e.g. last 2 days).

4. Click on the button "Generate a Support Package" under Service and Support. It can take a couple of minutes to complete the process.

5. The service package will be stored as a .zip file in C:\ServicePackages. Please submit it to SciexNow if requested.

The system only accept support packages which are less than 20 MB and if a lot of other items are in this support package, then the size is much higher than 20 MB.
