Inputting known concentrations of analytes into a batch in SCIEX OS software

Answer

In SCIEX OS software it is possible to input known concentrations of analytes and internal standards for quality control (QC) and standard sample types. This prevents having to add the values directly to the results table and saves time when analyzing data.

When creating a batch, set the appropriate sample types for each sample as shown below. Then click on the Component Concentration icon (highlighted below in red).


The components window appears and allows known concentrations to be input for each analyte for each standard and QC sample.


When processing this batch, the samples will auto-fill with their correct sample types and concentrations for standards and QC samples.
