How To Install the DIA-NN Software 1.8.1 To Process SCIEX WIFF Files?

In order to install the DIA-NN software, the executable file must be downloaded from the following link: Release DIA-NN 1.8.1 · vdemichev/DiaNN · GitHub. However, just installing the DIA-NN software using the .exe file will not allow users to process SCIEX data files (.wiff). A second software, ProteoWizard software (64-bit), must also be installed in order for DIA-NN to support vendor files. The ProteoWizard software can be downloaded from this link: https://proteowizard.sourceforge.io/download.html .

Secondly, in order to use the DIA-NN software to process SCIEX data files, all files (.dll) with names that include Clearcore or SCIEX must be moved from the ProteoWizard folder to the DIA-NN installation folder (the one that contains diann.exe, DIA-NN.exe and others). Once all of these requirements are met, DIA-NN software can process data-independent acquisition (DIA) wiff files acquired on a SCIEX mass spectrometer.
