For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Answer
It is not possible to manually transform the temporary file that is in the "WIFF_CACHE_BACKUP" folder into a .wiff file. The only way to get the .wiff file is to transfer the file to the network.
The normal procedure would be that Analyst® stores the files in the "WIFF_CACHE_BACKUP" folder until it is finished and then transfers it to the correct destination on the network. Files only stay in the wiff cache backup if the network is not available at this moment. You can 'force' Analyst® to transfer them by trying the following:
- Stop/start the Analyst service.
- Shut down and start the PC.
- Acquire another sample into the same .wiff file.
(For all options the network must be available)
