Issue when Exporting and Importing Text Files into MultiQuant or SCIEX OS Software

Issue Description

When exporting or importing component.txt and method .txt files in both the MultiQuant™ software and SCIEX OS software, quotations are placed around component names that include a comma. Is this a known issue?

Resolution

Excel can insert extra characters in exported forms of the MultiQuant or SCIEX OS software data and corrupts this data; the resolution here is to edit the exported file and use another editor, other than Excel, that does not insert extra characters into text. For example, Notepad can be used to edit the .txt file without corrupting the data before the data is imported back into the software.
