Migrating from Analyst to SCIEX OS software

SCIEX OS software and the benefits of it’s ecosystem can soon be realised through support and migration process experts. The leap from Analyst to SCIE OS will transform your system and enhance your labs productivity. The migration to SCIEX OS is complimented by the Change Control Contract plan, as more features are released for SCIEX OS software all your validation needs are covered within this plan, any further work needed as the software upgrades is covered.

When the unexpected occurs

In the unlikely event of instances where your system experiences a period of downtime and needs attention from SCIEX professionals, you can rest assured that the SCIEX Change Control Contract has you covered for any re-validation of your system that will be needed once it is back online. The same applies if your software needs to be re-installed, again your lab is covered. In the rare case that you need to apply a disaster recovery policy any necessary re-validations are covered too.

What’s included in the Change Control plan

  • A strategy to mitigate risk, including both system software and instrument assessments
  • A risk assessment that documents potential business and compliance risks associated with SCIEX OS software updates
  • Documentation of mitigated risks outlined through the risk assessment, such as: Security, roles, audit trails and file permissions
  • Change Control activities after computer system hardware failures
  • Change Control activities after software updates*
  • Change Control activities after software re-install* services
  • Any restoration activities (re-installations, data recovery, etc) are NOT included in the Change Control plan coverage and are outside the scope of this contract plan.
