Lipidomic analysis is challenging due to large differences in structural and physiochemical properties across lipid species. The fast-scanning capabilities and the Zeno trap allowed for acquisition of high-quality spectra even with large candidate ion numbers, making it well suited for HILIC separation untargeted analysis.
We leverage an open-source data processing toolkit specifically adapted to deconvolute the complex MS/MS spectra generated from HILIC-IDA analysis. A significant number of lipids were successfully annotated in human plasma using a minimal sample load.

Over the course of her career, she has focused extensively on developing quantification methods for xenobiotics and endogenous analytes across a variety of biological matrices. Her strong interest in metabolomics and lipidomics has led her to join the Singapore Lipidomics Incubator (SLING), where she is currently engaged in the development of rapid, high-throughput analytical methodologies.
