ZenoTOF 8600 system in omics research by Justin Lim, PhD
Mr. Jason Neo is the Director of Applications involved in developing customer experience strategies, business development and mass spectrometry applications to help our customers and drive business growth. He has extensive experience in the Mass Spectrometry for over 20 years and is currently actively involved in ensuring best customer experience, consultation services and collaboration with customers in research. He had represented SCIEX in numerous SCIEX seminars and international conferences such as HUman Protein Organization (HUPO) as speaker, holds joint research grants with research groups and collaborate with Biologics research organization. Previously he was driving the J-KOSEA marketing team and as Danaher Life Science Group leader in South East Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Molecular Genetics) from Curtin University of Technology, Australia and Master of Science (Proteomics) from National University of Singapore. J-KOSEA region includes Japan, Korea, Oceania, South East Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Justin received his PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Melbourne (Australia) in 2011 under the guidance of Prof. Richard Simpson at Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research. He started his research career focusing on proteins purification, expression, characterization and analysis since 1999. Along the way, he learn many analytical skills such as gel electrophoresis, HPLC, ELISA, confocal and electron microscopy, antibody phage display, BIAcore, cell culture and mass spectrometers during his times in the academia. He published 14 journal papers in the field of cancer and exosomes proteomics research. In 2010, he joined SCIEX Singapore as a Field Application Specialist, handling application support, pre-sale, demo and trainings for countries in Southeash Asia (SEA). Currently, he works as Market Development Manager (Life Science Research) at SCIEX, providing in-depth technical, market strategy, sale and marketing supports to regional customers in Korea, Oceania, Taiwan, Hong Kong and SEA countries.
