Join this webinar to learn from our experts about the power of capillary electrophoresis (CE) analysis and how it can provide benefit to your research. No matter your level of CE knowledge, the session will shine a light on this technique and showcase its applicability across various industries. Our speakers will outline how to develop methods for protein characterization, RNA/DNA analysis and small molecule detection and discuss some of the innovative integrated CE technologies. Using real examples we will demonstrate what is possible to achieve with the range of CE consumable kits available.

Webinar presenters:

Dr. Sarah Meyer, Regional Service Specialist, SCIEX

Sarah earned her doctorate in Analytical Chemistry in 2022. Her research focused on bioanalytical applications, particularly investigating the effectiveness of radiotherapy in cancer treatment. She developed high-resolution separation methods and novel mass spectrometry-based detection approaches to enhance analytical sensitivity. That same year, Sarah joined SCIEX as a Regional Specialist for Capillary Electrophoresis in the Asia-Pacific region, supporting teams and customers with technical and analytical challenges.

Dr Charlie Liu, Field Applications Specialist, SCIEX

Charlie obtained his PhD in biopolymers in 2014. He has experience as an analytical chemist and as a chemistry department manager at Biotest Laboratories and BJP Laboratories where he gained expertise in method development and validation in analytical chemistry, especially LC-MS/MS. In 2021, Charlie joined SCIEX Oceania as a Field Application Specialist focusing on pharmaceutical, food and environmental applications.

Jeremy Potriquet, Field Applications Specialist, SCIEX

Jeremy has extensive knowledge of peptide and protein analysis and quantification from previous roles as a scientific officer and proteomics manager. He is experienced in processing a variety of sample matrices ranging from cancer-related matrices to those for infectious diseases covering the study of exosomes, parasites, venoms and lately immunology. Mass spectrometry has always been an essential part of  Jeremy's career and with SCIEX as a Field Application Specialist, he applies his knowledge to provide support and guidance for the numerous SCIEX technology users in ANZ.
