The SCIEX 1250-compound Drug Forensic MRM Catalogue and Library, created under stringent quality control conditions using certified reference materials, can be used as a stand-alone test to create custom screening and/or quantification methods or in conjunction with the iMethodâ„¢ Application for Drugs of Abuse Screening (not included but available for purchase) to provide confirmation.

The 1250-compound Drug Forensic MRM (Mulitiple Reaction Monitoring) Catalogue and Library, created under stringent quality control conditions using certified reference materials, can be used as a stand-alone reference to create custom screening and/or quantification methods or in conjunction with the iMethod™ Application for Drugs of Abuse Screening (not included) to provide identification and confirmation. The iMethod™ Application provides a pre-configured method for the screening of 300 drugs of abuse in a single run, via an MRM-triggered enhanced product ion (EPI) workflow on a QTRAP® Series instrument. This library is verified for use on SCIEX 3200 QTRAP®, 4000 QTRAP® and QTRAP® 5500 LC-MS/MS Systems.
Identifying 1250 drugs of abuse, metabolites, and other compounds of forensic interest
Together, the MRM catalog and spectral library contain information on over 1250 drugs of abuse, metabolites, and other compounds of forensic interest. The MRM catalog comprises up to six MRM transitions for each compound, and the spectral library includes up to eight full-scan EPI spectra per compound. Each documented compound has individual spectra acquired using three distinct collision energies (20 eV, 35 eV, or 50 eV), as well as a single aggregate spectrum the three energies. If compound ionization in both polarities is possible, then spectra for both are also included, bringing the potential total number of spectra present per compound to eight.
Please note that this library is continually being expanded to include additional compounds. The 1250-compound Forensic MRM Catalogue and Library is available for use with SCIEX Triple Quad™ or QTRAP® LC-MS/MS Systems, Cliquid® Software Version 2.0, and Analyst® Software Version 1.5.
The list of available iMethodâ„¢ Applications located in the iMethodâ„¢ Store is continually updated with the newest user-contributed and SCIEX lab-proven methods, so you can take immediate advantage of the latest advances. All iMethodâ„¢ Applications are available for individual purchase or as part of one of our starter packs for forensic toxicology.
