vMethod Application for Quantitation of Pesticide Residues and Cannabinoids in Cannabis Matrices 1.0

For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

The vMethod is a quantitation method for 59 pesticides (Oregon List) and 10 most abundant cannabinoids in cannabis flower and concentrates. The disk includes a complete SOP, an installation-ready analytical and quantitation method, and reporting templates. The method has been fully verified in multiple labs. It includes retention time and 2 MRM transitions per compound. This method is developed on SCIEX QTRAP® Technology, the SCIEX QTRAP 4500 and QTRAP 6500+ and can also be used on 4500, 5500, 6500.

vMethod Application for Quantitation of Pesticide Residues and Cannabinoids in Cannabis Matrices 1.0

Overview

This LC-MS/MS method quantifies the current Oregon List of pesticides and the most abundant cannabinoids for potency in two different sample matrices; cannabis flower and concentrates. The current method utilizes sonication aided liquid extraction and further dilution with a solvent to help reduce matrix induced ion suppression prior to LC-MS/MS analysis. Quantitation methods for both the pesticide panel and cannabinoid panel uses deuterated internal standards to increase accuracy in determining concentration. Chromatographic separation from matrix interferences were achieved through HPLC conditions for all pesticides and cannabinoids.
