Gradient IS Voltage in analytical run to match LC gradient
As optimal ISV changes with aqueous/organic mobile phase composition it would be good to be able to use a gradient to change the ISV over the course of the LC gradient. At an ISV of 2500V will provide better results especially in complex matrcies when mobile phase composition is mostly aqueous, while at high organic conditions there is minimal ionization with an ISV of 2500V. While at an ISV 5500V there is optimial ionization at high organic composition and a decrease in ionization at high aqeuous conditions. The use of scheduled ionization and/or periods results in discontinous point in the results spectrum impacting all analytes eluting during the transition. I would like the option to ramp the ISV with the LC gradient, such that as the LC gradient goes from high aqueous to high organic, e.g. 5/95 to 95/5 over 10 minutes, be able to ramp the ramp from 2500V to 5500V over this time in order to obtain optimal ionization over the course of the data collection.
