SCIEX, a global leader in life science analytical technologies, will build upon its leadership position in the mass spectrometry market by announcing innovative new technology and showcasing groundbreaking SCIEX TripleTOF 5600 customer success at the American Society of Mass Spectrometry (ASMS) conference in Denver, Colorado.
SCIEX will unveil new technology that delivers unprecedented performance that no other mass spectrometry vendor can match. The company will also provide details on a new approach to mass spectrometry using TripleTOF® 5600 technology that is expected to surpass what can currently be achieved using systems from any other mass spectrometry vendor. Providing comprehensive, integrated solutions, it will also launch new software, chemistry, test methods and service offerings that are unmatched in the industry. Bolstered by a renewed pipeline of innovation and rapid customer adoption of new technologies, SCIEX continues to grow market share in the mass spectrometry market.
"SCIEX is taking analytical technologies to an entirely new level, and we will provide details on new innovations next week in Denver," said Rainer Blair, President of SCIEX. "We will demonstrate our significant advancements at ASMS, including how the TripleTOF 5600 System is enabling groundbreaking results that are capturing the attention and imagination of scientists and lab analysts around the world. In contrast to other alternatives, our TripleTOF 5600 System is new-generation technology that is now proven and succeeding in the marketplace, exceeding our expectations and those of many top scientists."
Among the world's foremost experts in mass spectrometry gathering together in Denver next week will be 24 SCIEX customers to formally present a wide variety of groundbreaking results and applications at the SCIEX Users Meeting on Sunday, June 5. These scientific presentations will range from disease studies, food safety, clinical research and drug discovery to new data generated on the SCIEX TripleTOF 5600 System to push the limits of mass spectrometry beyond what was previously achievable.
Drawing nearly 1,000 attendees annually, the SCIEX Users Meeting is the mass spectrometry industry's premier event to showcase leading scientists using mass spectrometry to improve quality of life. As a trusted partner to the scientific community, SCIEX hosts this annual meeting for industry-wide impact by incorporating market-leading, robust technologies with new insights and game-changing approaches presented in such a way that can be replicated by other scientists and lab analysts for reproducible results.
The presenters are from a diverse range of organizations, such as ETH Zurich, Bristol Myers Squib, Eli Lilly, TPMG Kaiser Regional Laboratory, ARUP Laboratories, Euofins, the Australian Proteome Analysis Facility, PharmaCadence, Beckman Coulter, Algorithme Pharma, Alturas Analytics, Aegis Sciences, CNRS and several universities with special expertise in mass spectrometry. To address the different needs of scientists and lab analysts, this users meeting will be divided into four simultaneous tracks:
- Omics & Biomarker Research
- Pharmaceutical & Small Molecule Research
- Food & Environmental Research
- Forensic Toxicology & Clinical Research
In addition, more than 100 oral and poster presentations highlighting significant research conducted on SCIEX systems will be delivered during the ASMS conference, which marks the one-year anniversary of the launch of the SCIEX TripleTOF® 5600 System. The company believes that never before has so much data been generated on a mass spectrometer in such a short period of time, showing the power and speed of the TripleTOF technology.
